Last night was a dream come true! I had a delightfully engaged audience. One little boy did his own storytime with his book that I just signed, and I got a request to read a Hot Wheels book along with my own! At the end I got to do a solo reading for a kid who missed the first one. Everyone had a great time coloring.

I saw my name on the sign, my books on the shelves, and a lot of sparkly faces as I shared my stories on the Barnes and Noble stage. 🎃📚 Thank you so much for having me, @bninvalencia!

I had the best time at my signing at The Open Book yesterday! Thank you to everyone who came out, to 📸 @roo_corey for being the best momager, and to the shoppers in the store that stuck around for my reading. These kids absolutely made my day, I hope they love their books! As always, thank you @theopenbook_scv for being so welcoming and hosting yet another great event! 💜

This week is Friday the Thirteenth! 🐈‍⬛ Which is the perfect day to come see me at The Open Book to continue celebrating the launch of my new book, The House on Merryhill! At 3pm I will be doing a reading, Q&A, raffle, and then signing until 5pm. Come see me and get your book! I can take cash, venmo, and now tap to pay powered by Square.

My book shipment was delayed by over a week, and is now projected to arrive on Thursday. 😱 Everyone send positive thoughts and say with me in unison: "I love you, oh great and powerful UPS. May your journey be swift and without incident!"

I had an absolute blast with Veronica doing storytime at The Open Book on Sunday! The kids were so precious when we talked about our favorite Halloween monsters, but I have to say the best part was the collective gasp when I demonstrated a Zoetrope. My heart is so full! 🎃 📚
